Meet Courtney
“Your voice is like a limb. It is both a part of your physiology AND connected to your heart and soul.”
With a focus on vocal technique, consistency, and mindset, Courtney empowers her clients to embrace their full vocal potential.
Courtney Herring is a passionate and experienced Vocal Coach who has been helping singers and speakers find their unique voice for over 20 years.
Having spent 30 years immersed in the world of theatre and performance, Courtney understands the fears and challenges individuals face when singing or speaking in public. Her warm personality and ability to create a safe and nurturing space allow her clients to experiment, grow, and gain both vocal prowess and personal confidence.
Courtney's dedication to her clients stems from her own journey of seeking support that she found lacking in previous lessons and teachers. Starting her business with just a MacBook and a piano in her living room, she has built a thriving practice by delivering exceptional service and support.
-A graduate of the University of San Diego with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Humanities, Courtney's artistic and educational pursuits span music, art, theatre, philosophy, and history. Staring her performance journey at age four, she has participated in over 40 productions, across 5 states, and 3 countries/continents to date.
Her theatrical credits include working with Broadway stars from Hairspray and Sister Act, as well as leading roles in professional theaters across multiple states. Her experience extends beyond performing, as she has also worked in various aspects of theater production, including assisting with casting, budgeting, and production planning.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Courtney is a dedicated wife and mother of two children. Her love of storytelling extends to novel writing, and she is currently working on a Fantasy Romance Trilogy set for publication in 2024.
